Addiction is emotionally draining. You deserve to talk to someone who understands and can answer all of your questions.

Taking the first step might feel nerve-racking, but it’s just a phone call. Whether you’re the family member or struggling yourself — not taking action is so much more stressful.

Medical Detox

3-10 days

Ridding the body of drugs and alcohol is often the most uncomfortable part of treatment, but think of the alternative. You pump more and more drugs into your system on a daily basis until your body starts to shut down. It’s the opportunity for true happiness, real relationships and a promising future that make any unpleasantness worth it.

The entire time, your vitals and well-being are monitored by a combination of medical professionals to avoid complications and look out for your best interest. In the end, you’ll feel better than ever, finally free of physical dependency.

Residential Treatment

Case-by-Case

In your first few days, a schedule is created based on what’s most beneficial for you. Everyone gets intense therapy daily (including advanced options like neurofeedback therapy), but some need trauma therapies (like EMDR), while others benefit more from marriage counseling or art therapy.

Between the emotional sessions and medical evaluations, you have time to relax with activities like massage, yoga or exercise.

Other underlying mental health issues — from social anxiety to bipolar — are also addressed under 24-hour supervision.

Residential treatment builds a healing foundation for a lifetime of sobriety. (It’s not an optional step).

Outpatient Treatment

3 months – ongoing

If you’ve been to treatment before, this is likely the part that tripped you up. We help you get a realistic plan for continuing therapy and surrounding yourself with support after you leave the 24/7 safety of the residential treatment.

From daily outpatient therapy at one of our facilities to sober housing, outpatient treatment is how you stay sober in the “real world.”

What's holding you back?

Sadly, addiction is an overwhelming disease. Devastating criminal consequences and even death are both real possibilities without treatment. The sooner the disease is addressed, the less destruction it can cause.

Because addiction escalates over months or years, there is not a quick-fix cure. It takes time and commitment. But, everything starts with a simple phone call. From there, just keep moving one step at a time. Things will get easier.

Feelings of doubt and helplessness are part of addiction, but there’s always hope! We see people turn their lives around every single day.

Our treatment is backed by research in the science of addiction and led by a compassionate team of specialty-leading professionals. It’s not a miracle cure, but it is your best shot at regaining meaning and peace in your life.

The fact is — thousands of people across the country are now living sober, productive lives after their time here. You deserve the same chance.

Most people are initially resistant to treatment. Denial is part of the disease. If you’re loved one says they “don’t need treatment” or “treatment won’t work,” it’s their addiction talking.

We have an entire family team you can talk to any time for free — including an ARISE-certified interventionist. When you call the number on our website, you’ll get transferred to the Family Wellness team for advice on how to use your leverage to encourage your loved one to do the right thing. We also offer a free online course on addiction, where you can get feedback from other families too — visit HopeTracker.org.

Even if you’re feeling powerless, know that you always have choices!

It’s normal to have tons of questions, especially regarding insurance and costs. Both our helpline and chat are available 24/7 for answers.

Most people use insurance. We’ll sort through your policy’s out-of-pocket maximums, co-pays and deductibles to get you a straight answer on cost and work with your income for a payment plan or even complete financial hardship. Your costs range from absolutely zero to a few thousand dollars.

If you don’t have private insurance or you have other legal or medical situations that make another facility a better fit, we’re still committed to helping you find quality treatment!

Get support from someone who has been there themselves and is looking out for your best interest. You’re don’t have to navigate alone!

From the very first phone call to find out more about Ambrosia, until the day I picked my loved one up, this place was always sincere and genuine in their caring and had a real understanding of everything that was going on. The change in my son was obvious right away.

This place saved me! As rough as rehab can be, these people made it 10x easier because they actually care. From the therapists to the discharge coordinators they really made me feel like I was in good, loving hands. I came far from home and took every bit of help that was offered and I now truly enjoy the beauty of living life sober. I’m nothing but grateful that I came here.

Overall, I liked Ambrosia and what it did for me. It allowed me to look at the reasons behind my problem with addiction and address those issues. The staff is friendly and the therapists are top notch. Without this program, I would not have the hope that I have today.

Ambrosia is not your average rehab. It helped me establish necessary life skills, enhance my understanding of the disease of addiction and the 12 Steps, and helped me to improve my thinking, actions, and my overall life. Great program. My experience was amazing.

This is a much different type of rehab from what my experiences were in from up north. This was a perfect transition in treatment before going to my first halfway house. The groups were good. Outside and inside meetings were extremely beneficial. Small group was good. I loved the personalized treatment plan per client.

Ambrosia helped me more than anywhere else ever has. The houses are so nice. I really enjoyed the leisure time I had. It made me realize there is a lot of fun to have while in recovery. My counselor was the best counselor ever. Groups were awesome. I didn't hesitate to get involved in any of them. This is a really awesome place. Everyone was really nice and welcoming, right down to the techs.

My experience at Ambrosia was great. I got a lot of insight into addiction. Also, what I need to stay away from in order to maintain abstinence. I learned to speak up more about how I feel. I learned that I must start the 12 steps when I leave in order to maintain abstinence and to be clean. I would definitely refer addicts to this treatment center. My stay was successful and helped a lot.

Ambrosia is the best treatment center I have ever been to. I learned a lot about my addiction and myself through my stay there. I was able to open up and talk about things I thought I would never be able to. Ambrosia saved my life.
