Psychiatrist Evaluation 2x Week

Our addiction psychiatrists combine psychological therapy with the latest medical developments to deliver compassionate, effective care to bring individuals back to a healthy state-of-mind.

Physician On Call 24/7

Because heavy drug and alcohol use comes with physical damage to the body, a doctor is on call to provide general health care directly at our addiction rehab centers.

Anti-Craving Medications As-Prescribed

Anti-craving medications like Naltrexone are commonly recommended. These non-addictive medications help re-balance the brain to stop the obsession and make it impossible to feel high from drugs or alcohol.

Mental Health Medications As-Prescribed

The majority of those struggling with drugs and alcohol have underlying mental health issues that were contributing factors to the escalation of the disease. Everything from depression and anxiety to PTSD and bi-polar needs to be properly treated for any addiction treatment to be effective permanently. Medications are regulated while here and education is provided to underscore the importance of medication compliance moving forward.

Intimate Group Therapies Daily

Clinical therapists take their knowledge and experience of substance abuse to small groups that confront real issues that block recovery. Being held accountable with support from both professionals and peers helps important messages really sink in.

Individual Therapy 2x Week

One-on-one therapy allows each community member to develop and nurture a personal relationship with their therapist. These interactions provide instant feedback on individual issues and encouragement from an accredited, knowledgeable addiction professional in a comfortable atmosphere.

Creative Therapies 3x Week

In a free and expressive environment, recovering addicts and alcoholics can use their creativity to articulate themselves and deal with problematic emotions in a healthy way.

Psychoeducational Lectures Daily

Learn about your addiction, ways to prevent relapse, how to manage relationships in sobriety and more in engaging and interactive activities.

Life Skills Sessions 1x Week

Substance abuse often leads to unmanageable lifestyles. Instruction on basic life skills helps individuals to relearn skills like communication and time management that are typically overlooked during drug use.

12 Step Meetings 7x Week

Most addiction professionals agree that involvement in a 12-step group of any kind is important for maintaining long-term sobriety. By familiarizing themselves with this meeting format, individuals become comfortable attending 12-step meetings after they leave the facility.

Family Visitations 1x Weekly

Support from loved ones is a crucial piece to the puzzle. Family visitation is encouraged to develop communication between individuals and their loved ones, as well as education on the process of recovery. Understanding family members can encourage the healing process and provide some welcome normalcy in a time of change.

Family Therapy As-Needed

Unlike other drug rehabs, we have a full team dedicated to families. Issues such as codependency, enabling and lack of communication can be addressed in a safe environment with a therapist who can provide feedback and guidance.  We provide continued free support to alumni clients with aftercare planning.

Recovery Yoga 2x Weekly

Yoga connects the body, mind and soul to achieve spiritual consciousness. A connection between these parts of the self helps to break the cycle of addiction and begin the healing process on multiple levels.

Nutrition Education 1x Weekly

Eating right is one of the simplest, yet most difficult types of self-care. Practicing this type of self-love increases confidence and encourages healthy behaviors outside of drugs and alcohol.

Mindfulness Meditation Daily

Projecting into the future or reminiscing about the past can lead to worry, anxiety, and depression. The best way to avoid these behaviors is to practice mindfulness, or living in the moment. Meditation helps to achieve this sense of serenity and directs thinking in positive directions.

Therapeutic Acupuncture 1x Weekly

Acupuncture is effective at alleviating withdrawal symptoms and helps to balance the body on a day-to-day basis. Our rehab center of embraces holistic treatments like holistic medicine to provide all available options.

Fellowship Events Daily

A sense of community is essential to long-term sobriety. Building friendships with peers in recovery gives individuals accountability, relationship skills and the opportunity to have fun without being intoxicated.

Educational Recovery-Based Outings 1-2x Weekly

Your 30-60 days at our drug rehab are just the beginning of a sober life. Venturing out of the facility allows recovering people the opportunity to participate in recovery in a real-world setting.

Answers You Need to Know

If you want to stop drinking or using drugs, but you’re still at it, that’s a clear sign you can’t control this on your own.

While it can be a tough realization, thousands of people are finally living sober after 14-45+ days in treatment at our California drug rehab. The sooner you let go of any denial, the sooner you can feel and live better. You have so much more to lose by living in denial than you do by giving treatment a try.

Treatment is not scary. It’s simply a place for self-reflection where you’ll likely even have some sober fun.

Expect to be surrounded by people that actually care.

The team here outnumbers clients, so you’ll always get the utmost personal attention.

Expect to relax and focus on yourself and your feelings.

The facility is tucked away in the hills with total privacy and seclusion. The settings will help you find peace and escape your mental demons.

Expect to make progress against relapse every day.

Since you’re surrounded by constant support, there’s no such thing as “slipping through the cracks” here.

Regardless of where you’re from, you’ll be welcomed with compassion and comfort.

The Beverly Hills rehab is one of the best places for healing from drugs and alcohol in the country. People come from all over the world for intimate, evidence-based treatment that truly heals the mind, body and spirit.

Going away to treatment can feel like a big decision. But, what’s the alternative? You need an escape from the triggers and bad influences to think for yourself and your future. It’s as simple as a plane ticket, and we’ll be there to welcome you at the airport.

You probably have tons of questions — Are there spots open now? Do you take my insurance? Is this the right place for me? How much will I have to pay? How can I convince my loved one to go?

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by treatment, but you have someone to talk to 24/7. Call or chat right now to get answers, advice or just to talk.

You don’t have to be committed to coming here to speak to someone with experience. This facility is in high demand and only allows 12 people at a time, so we’re not here to pressure you to come. We know what it’s like to not know where to turn for help, and we’re here listen and truly look out for your best interest.

They took my brother in when he had nowhere else to go. They treated him with kindness, love and respect. All the staff at Ambrosia reached out to the family and checked in regularly. My brother had a wonderful therapist that got down to the core issues. Never in my life have I witnessed such a dramatic change. This place is more than a place to get clean and sober, it's life changing.

Ambrosia was not my first treatment but was by far the best. Ambrosia individualizes care instead of placing everyone in a general category. The staff is amazing and are always genuinely willing to help and make you feel at home.

My son recently went through the program, and I wanted to express my gratitude for the help and support they gave him and our family. They helped us every step of the way and continued to support him through aftercare. The staff and program are fantastic! They are extremely dedicated to my son's recovery! We are so grateful that he is doing well.

I came to rehab in pretty bad shape. I didn't know where to turn, or what to do. I was tired of living in despair. The help I received saved my life, and I will be forever grateful those people who helped me in my most desperate hour. I would highly recommend finding a way out as soon as possible.

My time here was a game changer. The staff truly cares about the well being and recovery of each client. They genuinely do everything they can to build the best foundation possible for each person who walks through their doors. And the fact that some of the staff have gone through addiction themselves, makes for an incredibly authentic environment. Not only did I feel extremely safe and loved, but I was also pushed to be apart of my own recovery and truly fight for my life. I am forever grateful for my time spent here.

Thank you for the kindness you showed my son, Damon. Of all the drug rehabs in California, you were there for him when he really needed a friend and ally. I am very grateful for all of the time you spent with me over the telephone as well. We are both very lucky to have you on our sides.

I may be biased because I have the privilege of working here, but this is one of the most unique, nurturing and all-encompassing treatment settings I have ever experienced. Every day when I get up the hill to work I am filled with gratitude that this space exists to offer healing and support to those that need it.

I don’t know if I need treatment.

You’re here because you know the problem is out of control. You’ve spent months if not years trying to convince yourself (and those around you) that your drug or alcohol use isn’t “that bad.”

Don’t let denial drag out the suffering. Addiction is serious. You can (and should) get help before it completely takes over your life.

I don’t know what treatment would be best.

Have you tried getting help before? If so, it’s time to follow the science. The most effective process involves detox, rehab and outpatient treatments.

Don’t be overwhelmed! All you have to do now is call to talk about where you’re at. You’ll take it one step at a time from there. Before you know it, you’ll be sober. You can do this!

I can’t convince my loved one to go.

Even if you’re feeling powerless, there’s always hope! Donny, our dedicated ARISE interventionist, can talk to you today about your options. Following his advice, three of every four people come directly to treatment.

I'm not sure if you can help.

Now is not a good time.

You may worry about missing out on family or work, but the truth is you’re missing out now when your thoughts are preoccupied on your next fix or you’re too sick or high to show up.

Your job is guaranteed by law. And, your spouse, parents and kids all need you sober.

I have more questions.

It’s normal to have tons of questions, especially about your specific situation, insurance or how it all works. Why not get your questions answered now?
