What are some examples of boundaries when dealing with an alcoholic?

Brooke P Detaching from unhealthy situations the alcoholic might participate in. For example a lot of time they are looking for a reaction. Weather it’s good or bad you should not react. It fuels them and it takes up space in your mind when you can be focusing on helping yourself. Detaching doesn’t mean physically or emotionally distancing (even though it could, depending on the situation). It means putting your mental health and well-being first.
