"Can they get treatment without insurance?"
Asked by HopetrackerA3 Seen by 176
After I covered the expenses for my daughter’s recent trip to rehab, I had to enforce tough love. It killed me to say this to her, but when she got out, I told her that if she relapsed again, she would be forced to pay for treatment on her own. She was sober for eight months but just recently relapsed again. It’s been gut-wrenching, but this time I’m sticking to my word. I want her to get the help she deserves. Yes, there are options for people who are struggling and don't have insurance. State-run facilities and places like the Last Stop or Salvation Army are great options. Different states have different resources, and you can find more on the National Helpline SAMHSA.org.
